Employment

The Greater Lawrence Sanitary District (GLSD) is a 52-MGD municipal waste water treatment facility in North Andover, Massachusetts. The District provides employees with a competitive benefits package including wages, sick, personal and vacation time and life, dental and health insurance. Additionally, the District offers a defined benefits retirement plan. GLSD is seeking to fill the following positions:

Wastewater Operator – Salary range $19.31-$28.94/hr.
Candidates shall possess a Grade 4 (or higher) Municipal Wastewater Operator License.
Starting salary commensurate with experience

Operator Trainee – Salary $18.40/hr.

The chosen candidates will participate in the daily operations and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Facility as directed by the Senior Operator.

These positions are scheduled for 3rd shift, M-F 3 PM to 11 PM with a 10% pay differential and Weekend Nights 11PM – 11AM plus two weekdays 7AM – 3PM with varying pay differentials.
